Advisory Services

What is EAS@TAFEP?

The Employer Advisory Service (EAS@TAFEP) is an advisory service for employers who have enquiries on applying the Employment Act and related labour laws to specific employment and related scenarios. These situations may arise due to changes in operating conditions, business needs or any other HR issues which will impact employees.

The EAS@TAFEP is an extension of our engagement with employers to create fair, responsible and progressive workplaces in Singapore. Through this service, we will have the opportunity to further engage employers to raise employment standards. With EAS@TAFEP, we hope to support employers to:

  • Comply with employment standards as stipulated by the various labour laws; and
  • Raise employment standards beyond the basic legal requirements, where possible.

How EAS@TAFEP can help you?

Our EAS@TAFEP consultants will provide scenario-based advice to employers on the Employment Act and relevant parts of the Child Development Co-Savings Act, Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, and Retirement and Re-employment Act, which impact employment terms and conditions.

Our EAS@TAFEP consultants are not providing legal advice and will not discuss points of law. We will only provide practical guidance on the application of the Employment Act and other related labour laws to the specific scenarios that are raised by employers, and share good employment practices that are adopted by industry peers and employers in Singapore.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30 pm (excluding public holidays).

Employers may contact our EAS consultants as follows:
